At 11 years old, fueled by his father’s Hip-Hop roots, Cruzcito made his first track on Logic Pro. While his peers were playing games, he was producing. By 2016, he teamed up with his brother to form Beneath My Shadow, taking the drums to provide the heartbeat for their guitar-driven sound. Through middle school and high school, he wasn’t just another student—he was “Cruzzy on the Beat,” a local recognized for a creative hunger that refused to be silenced by the noise of critics.
